I had too many models laying on the shelf so today I called down to my GW store and asked em if I could do an exchange for it, the manager said it was cool so I grabbed some stuff.... over $400 worth of stuff.... I had decided a week or so ago that I was going to start a filth army.... Here is my leader Let the bashing begin! I know I know "WHY OH WHY would you do that to your friends!" you say. The answer is simple... They are some of the best tournament players in the area and I need to throw down something big or continue to get steamrolled! I'm doing this right... I'm building a unit then painting it before opening another box. It will be finished before hitting the table. Wish me luck! Chris

60 Saurus in 2 blocks 25-30 temple guard with a Slann an Engine of the gods, a Stegadon 2 salamanders and a bunch of skinks. A Scar Vet BSB and maybe a Scar vet beat stick character.

Nice job so far, Chris! Are you going to Devlan Mud him? nope he's seal coated. You'll have to see him in person as the camera did funny stuff to the paint job. I'm really happy with how he turned out!

My son decided that he wanted to join me in the garage while I was painting adepticon models. He said he wanted to look at the dinosaur that he picked out the colors for. I handed him the model and kept painting thinking nothing of it. I look over a minute or so later and he's in this position, talking to the Saurus. He's giving it a pep talk telling it how it's going to kick butt and be the best dinosaur in the world cause he picked the colors. I grabbed the camera and snapped a picture before he knew I was doing it. Funniest thing I have ever seen to date in the WFB hobby!

Yeah that is awesome for sure. Really like the Slaan and before I could say he just needed dullcoat... you already had it posted. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the painted models and it always feels good to EMBRACE THE FILTH. Whenever you feel dirty about it just have a game with a softer army and you feel good and ready to filth it up again!

After doing the display boards it got my creative juices flowing. As usual, inspiration struck while sitting on the porcelain throne! I've devised a 5 tier display board for my Lizards. It'll be an Aztec temple with the top having a cap stone where the Slann sits under it between the pillars. Each section will be 2" tall so the whole thing is going to rise 14" over the bottom level. I'm going to put in steps too all the way to the top! I cant wait to get started on this!
I need some flock, and some trees, and some.......... (heads to the hobby store)
