My Horror Champ should be done tonight and will base him tomorrow. Pics will be up by Midnight Pacific Time tomorrow night. Hopefully that meets the deadline.

I'm waiting on my last few coats to dry on my shield so I can photograph my guy and I must say he looks EXACTLY how I had him pictured in my mind... if not better...
One problem, I still haven't recieved any of my basing materials from Skullcrafts. I'm trying a new product on the whole army. It was recommended by Mr. Dennis Guina who happens to win the painting portion of EVERY tournament he enters. All sorts of cool stuff in the mail for me to base with.... sorry they dont have any basing done!

I'll have my pics up Sunday afternoon. Can't flat the model until the snow dries on his base. Champ is finished though!
Also finally finished my 3rd rank of Bloodletters tonight too!

Some nice models there guys. Weather conditions have kept me at work due to alarm problems (nature of some stores means they need a guard when alarms not active). So here is my muso entry from my first unit of warriors (the second can wait for another challenge, hmmm, maybe a full comand group). Uploaded with ImageShack.usI will add the poll tonight so that voting can start. would a 1 week vote period be enough or do you think 2 weeks would be better? let me know so that I can set and end voting date. 1 vote each guys and would be nice to add a comment as to why you voted but you do not have to. I will leave it to individuals to police themself and not vote for themselves. Good luck. dave

Ok since I'm runner up I guess its my turn to pick? If thats so I choose large model. This can be classified as a chariot and up. Warshrines count, as do anything on a giant base and larger. Since its a large model and they tend to take more time I propose a month to paint the model... I know I still have to assemble my model. Sound good?
Chris
Ps for this one perhaps a photo of the before and after as I know I have a few large models already painted up.... since its a time driven painting competition perhaps a new model would be appropriate from everyone (although absolutely not required)... I know half the forum has a new Aracknarock to paint up.......

Ohh and for those armies that have no large models like this (daemons in particular) a Greater daemon will work as will a unit of 40MM base models like Fiends of Slannesh ect. I think that Ogres are in the same boat.

Sounds good Chris.
Do you want to start a new thread and lay down the challenge rules.
Thanks to everyone that voted.

Good choice Chris. I hope my Anvil of Doom counts as a big model! I am planning on painting one in the next month

I would say yes, I'm looking for multi part large models that will showcase peoples attention to details larger than on say a champ. Basically if it isnt on a 20-25-40mm base its fair game. We can do warmachines later. The anvil and pope mobile are prime examples.
