Cool color scheme. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. I've seen bright colors and earth tones. But gray and red, that is altogether different.

Thanks, My Slann inspired it. I wanted em all to look similar to him so the red flesh and then I wanted something that would be a contrast to red... green wasn't going to do it for me as I didn't want em to look like christmas lizards, so I picked a neutral bright color. I also started working on their display board... I told myself that I wouldn't start on it till the Daemons were done... but I couldn't help myself. At the front of the board there is room for 2 units of saurus and a unit of temple guard with 2 Stegadons, and on each tier there will be my skirmishers like my skinks and my salamanders. At the top of course will be the Skink priests and the characters. This is going to be a FUN project. I need to work out how big the stones for each level will be and carve them out of the tiers. Edit: I forgot to add the thing is almost 14 " tall!

Since I'm done with the Waaagh! cast tournament and My daemons are done for A-con I can focus on the army that I've been staring at for over a month wishing I was assembling and painting instead of my Daemons. Dont get me wrong the Daemons were ok but who doesnt like Dinosaurs. Here is the start of my Stegadon. He's gonna have a skink priest on him with the Engine. The plan is for at least 2 more if not 4 more as this is my favorite model in the whole GW lineup. I put him together in around 40 minutes, and got this far in about an hour and a half. The paint will be identical to my Saurus and all skinks will be orange. I was thinking of washing this guy to darken him a bit but decided againts it. I like the color. Here he is with the flesh done. Scales will be grey.
