Dave, I look forward to seeing your entry with great pleasure! Chris I like the red color choice for the skin. It is very interesting. The horns seemed to turn out nicely! I have finished painting the Anveel of Doooom. I have glued it to the scenic base and still need to paint that up and such, but that is not too big a hassle. I struggled with whether or not to base it or leave it as the anvil base only. In the end I choose to base it to save handling the painted models of the anvil. I could see them getting rubbed on without a base to pick it up and move it around. -Erik

I had that problem with the stegadon! I kept rubbing the paint off the horn bits on its side! Had to put he base on before I was finished.

Completed project- Anvil of Doom: I really, really enjoyed painting these dwarves. I have been wanting to paint this particular model for several years, so naturally I am happy to get it done :> I can't wait to start on my metal longbeards! I just have a few conversions to do on them yet. -Erik

That looks awesome! Really nice work Erik. I like the base. I haven't worked on, played with, touched my dwarfs in several years. I had a hard time with em in 7th and really have a bad taste in my mouth because of it. Who knows I may play em again.

Very nice Erik, thats gonna take some beating, if it can be, but lets just say that if someone can beat that, then they have got some serious painting to do.

They are for sure folks on this very board that can equal or surpass that level of painting. "I have seen it with me own eyes!" So folks need to jump on and bust out some finished picts! It is rare that I actually get finished early (with anything). I appreciate the positive feedback though folks ;D -Erik

Three days left to paint and base... Ohh boy this is cutting it close. Does anyone want an extension or need an extension due to Adepticon? I suppose we can go another week if needed.. If not, April 9 is closing.
