Thanks to Erik sending me a PM letting me know the new episode was out I was able to finish the unit of bloodletters. I work better with someone talking about warhammer in my ear for some reason. Anyway here is the finished product. I'm considering hitting em with a dullcoat.... but I'm not sure.

More work on the display board. to the left of the Greater Daemon will be a bridge over the gap (which will be a river of blood) and another unit of bloodletters. Across the bridge away from the bloodletters will be 2 3 man units of Flamers and my Herald of Tzeentch which is pictured.

I much prefer the matte version on the right.
Tom will tell you he prefers the glossier left BL I am sure, I guess it is a matter of personal opinion :>
You are good either way!

Its split right down the middle on all my different forums.. you guys are no help to me! How about a compromise? I matte the model and then gloss the swords and the horns?

I like that idea. I think the horns should be glossy no matter what. If you matte the rest then that works too.

These look great. My club mate has done his very similar to your matt daemon - it too has gold horns, and his blade is black with flames painted on. Your glossy style looks way evil so that gets my pick

Progress is being made again.. the two days off from painting these guys was just what I needed to get me over the blahh phase. 20 bloodletters are 2 color with 4 more colors to go. Easy as pie. That will only leave 10 bloodletters unpainted. Gonna go eat something and get at least 10 done tonight. No pics will be posted this time as ... well they look just like the other 30 I already finished. I'll post a pic of them when they are done next to everything else on the display board.

OK so I already posted the overhead picture of my unit of bloodletters, and I took this picture for another forum. After posting it I said to myself... "I'd poop myself if that was running at me!" Edit: post edited because i wrote it and couldnt tell what I was trying to say.....

Well tonight I played 2 games. In both my Bloodcrushers were useless. I think the points would be better spent elsewhere. So I changed some stuff up. I just got done building 6 Khorne Dogs, and swapped some points around to get my BSB a magic banner. The combination of the two should be what it takes to push the list over the top... I picked the banner that makes the other army at -2 leadership in a 12" bubble.. with how combats were going I think that is really going to make it difficult for opponents to stay in combat with me. Even steadfast will take a huge hit from that.
I also got all the bloodletters that are painted magnetized. MUCH easier to move around the board now! I'm a happy camper.
