I have found some success with Goblin Spider Riders as archers. They can set up about anywhere and move as the crow flies so it makes it easy for them to get where they can harass. I'm pretty sure in the new book they will be able to occupy a building. That would be nice having them shoot out across the board to a building and hold it for a watchtower scenario. Havent tested that yet though.

That's actually a better plan if you have the points (arrer boyz for tower). I would still keep 2 fanatics per unit.

The O&G FAQ states that the Waaagh spell does not affect war machine crew.

I don't have my book with me atm so I can't look up the relevant rules, but I think you _do_ roll all the dice at once. I know that is how we play it around here. (i.e. your level four wiz takes 4 dice and rolls. You roll 2,2,4,6. You have spells #2,4,6 and you get to pick another. After that, you can drop any of them for the signature spell if you want.)

I'm pretty bad at math, but would it matter if you rolled them individually or in a group? Seems like it would be the same to me?

The O&G FAQ states that the Waaagh spell does not affect war machine crew. Yeah I learned this after I started this discussion and then forgot to mention that I learned it.

Looks like in a month we won't have to worry about the spell anyways.

To quote the book on page 28:
The reference section on page 490 says:
It doesn't specify if you have to roll at the same time or not. I like to roll them one at a time.

I forgot to look at the rules last night, but doesn't it mention rolling doubles? How can you roll doubles when you only roll a single die? **wish I had a book at work ** -Erik

I read the rules and it seemed to me that if you rolled the same spell you got to choose another one, but I am not certain now. I need the book in front of me again.

It says that you can only have the same spell once in the army and if you roll one that your army already has that you get to pick the spell.

I listened to the point hammered episode from paca, they interviewed ALex G and he talked about his list and why he uses what he does. I suggest listening to that as the man is a genius with the greenskins! His views completely changed how I look at the old book.... the new book however I'll have to really look at.
