I need some help, I want to play two armies at an upcoming tournament and cant decide. I have a pretty decent Daemon list and a good O&G list. I know for a fact that the O&G will be more "fun" but the Daemon list gives me a much better chance of winning. I'd rather not post up the lists here as some people watching (TOM) may be at the tournament and I don't want to tip my hand if I decide to go Daemons.
So My Daemon list has a Khorne theme. Lots of bloodletters and a Greater daemon. A Dash of Magic Support, and some fast artillery hunters.
My O&G list is straight horde with a few nasty surprises in the special and rare department... think pie plates. I think i'm around 160 models with the O&G. Daemons is around 85.
For those who want to see the lists PM me your E-mail and I will send you them, as long as your name doesn't start with Tom ;D. Tournament is march 12 and the Waaagh Cast boys are running it.
Thanks Chris
Edit: I played the Daemon list today and DESTROYED a skaven player. Drew a Dark Elf Player. I screwed up the DE game and didnt charge fast enough. The consensus was that it is an absolutely filthy list. People were shaking their heads and saying "Damn, that looks rough, glad I'm not playing it."
I'm not sure I want to do that to other players at a tournament as I do want it to be enjoyable.... but I also want to win and that is what you have to do sometimes.....

Make some concessions with the DoC list so that when people complain you can let them know what you took out. I always admire that in tourney players; there is a difference between a "hard" army and a "WAAC" army. For tournaments take a hard army because winning is part of the fun IMO. Guys who usually win best general never have this conversation.

I talked with my friend Dennis today. He looked at my list and said it was a perfectly acceptable list. Battle report from our game in another thread. Dennis is ranked #9 in the US for Tournaments.
