Many rumors were wrong... Magic mushrooms only affect Night Goblin shaman, you can only take the arachnarock on a goblin shaman NOT a night goblin shaman, Black orcs have to pick there weapon at the beginning of combat not each round of combat. Manglers were correct as were nasty skulkers. I cant wait to run my goblin horde!!!! I bought 120 regular goblins to run... THAT is the core of an army my friends!!!!

I just designed a huge point sink for my army.
General with shield, the crown of command,Armor of Fortune, luck stone, and Sword of swift slaying.
Blorc big boss BSB with Morks war banner shield
28 black orcs with the Standard of Discipline full command....
Thats only 821 points... in one unit...... Talk about an all your eggs in one basket unit huh!
The banner negates all enemy magic items in contact. The tactic is specifically for tooled up chaos lords and heros. Get the Orc Warboss and the BSB in contact with the lord, then his magic items stop working so he is easier to kill. Most of the chaos lords I've seen use the enchanted shield or charmed shield. That makes his save a 4+ then with the warboss getting ASF and S5 he is at a 6+ Armor... Maybe 2 wounds for sure?
This tactic works even in challenges as it doesnt say anywhere that you are no longer in base contact with the unit... just that all your attacks must be directed at eachother. Do a make way move with the BlOrc BSB to get him touching the enemy character and BOOM... dead character. This is going to be especially mean to the dark elf lords with the reverse ward. No more ward for you dirty elf! I think it'll be fun... and dirty for sure not to mention that the unit is stubborn 10 just in case something bad happens to them out of the challenge. Say like 30 attacks from chaos warriors kill 15 dudes...

Many rumors were wrong... Where did you get your rumors? Da Warpath had all the right rumors and knew all that stuff beforehand. I think Black Orcs should get to pick each round. That would make them crazy good. I'm not sure I agree with the 100 pt banner. It's very situational. Also, if you don't kill the enemy character in one turn, he's going to target your BSB. Your BSB will be pretty open to attacks at that point. He'll only have heavy armor and T5. Rank and file will be able to wound him. It's also a lot of points in one unit. Throw a Gateway or other spell on it and you might kiss the whole unit, plan, and points goodbye. As for combos, I'm thinking of going with a Savage Great Shaman in a unit of Savage Big Uns on foot. Give him the Shrunken Head to turn their ward saves into 5+ and then give him the Fencing Blades. If you can, get off Fists of Gork on the guy. That means in the first round of combat you will get 6 attacks at WS 10 and S8. Most will only hit him on a 5+, but anyone with WS 5 or more will hit on a 4+. He's still T5. Throw in the potion of speed and he can go pretty fast, too. Not only can this guy win challenges, but he might be able to kill hydras and such. That is if the Big Stabba doesn't do it first. As for a nasty combat lord to take on chaos lords, how about a Black Orc with 4+ ward amulet, dragon helm, Sword of +2 attacks, and potion of speed. This gives you a 3+ AS and a 4+ ward. You get 6 attacks that are S6 in the first round and S5 after. You still have points for a magic potion (speed or devastating charge). Throw a goblin sig spell on him to get armor piercing. Or, you just stay alive and unbroken and throw 3 wolf chariots into the flank of the Chaos Lord's unit and defeat him in combat by a lot of points. Break him and run him down. I can see two units of 3 wolf chariots. They are only 150 pts! We are even allowed three of them. I've heard reports that they can kill Demon Princes on the charge. Throw the goblin sig spell on them and they get armor piercing and re-roll misses, too. That's a lot of hits. The way I see the new OnG book is a number of solid blocks are the anvils and take the enemy charges. Then, the support stuff slams into their side. There are so many different support units that do so much damage, I don't see prolonged combat happening. Arachnorok on giant spider with the Great Shaman is good. Throw in a bunch of low level NG shaman. They all get channeling on a 4+. For every spell they cast, they get a chance to steal dispel dice for power. I can see this build really being strong with the magic. I'm very happy with the new book.

I get a lot of grief for my DE's and hatred in the first round of combat and I can tell thats not going to die down when I play my O&G in the first round of combat.
For the Blorc hero I was thinking the +2 Str sword instead of the +2 Attack but close to the same build though.
I'm hesitent to take the Shamen on the spider as that makes them a prime target for warmachine fire. I dont want to keep its kids gloves on but there are a lot of Brets(Heroic Killing) and Empire players out here so I may hold my Spider in reserves for a while.
I'm super excided about the Spider Riders assaulting buildings. I think I am pretty much always going to run with a block of them just in case its watchtower.
