Excellent work on the scales and model in gemeral so far. It is awesomely hideous! ;D

I can't stop looking at this. It is so interesting. The scales really offer a huge painting opportunity. I can understand how it's going to pay off spending so much time on the details. The barbels off the chin are still my favorite part though because I can imagine them dangling and swaying as it turns its head.
