Heya everyone,
Heard about the show on Garagehammer and now I am an avid listener hungry for more episodes! Started playing warhammer again at the tail end of 7th edition and was super pumped for 8th ed. Enjoying the game and listening to all the great podcasts out there. Currently building/playing Ogre Kingdoms, but also own VC, Dark Elves, and Skaven.

Alright! Another pisces in the house! I'd love to hear about your 8th ed. VC build, and if you have any theme or story behind your ogres. Going with tattoos?

Nothing special about my 8th ed VC build, it's about as stock standard as it gets. Casty lord in a skelly block, ws hat, Graveguard bunker with GW, Wight King BSB, Ghouls, varg, necro, vamp. Still need to get a black coach and sometimes I like to break out the black knights. Theme of my Ogres is fun. I tend to be a super cheese combo powergamer so I started building an ogre army with the aim of having super fun games without taking away the fun from the person across the table. Now I still think Ogres are a competitive army, but their book does not have the super combos that you find in the DE, VC, and Skaven books. I'm considering tattoos since I just started painting them, but may leave them for hero characters to distinguish them even more. Started a blog on the Garagehammer forums if you wanna check out the full back story and battle report of their debut game. garagehammer.net/forum-3/painting-and-modeling/intervention-of-a-powergamer-the-journey-to-fluff/

Nice job on the rust! I like the flesh tone with the red war paint. Got a goal for getting them done?
