The bonfire isnt actually that tall, I had to wait for some glue to dry and it has been remade, I'll snap another picture in a while. I dont think you're gonna be able to take this home with you.... I'm starting to like it LOL!

Snap some pix. I'm working on a board with a large fire pit in the middle. I would love to see how you did the fire.

I took balsa and broke it up by hand about as long as a model is tall... some taller some shorter. I layed one piece lengthwise in the fire pit and then started making a wood tee pee around it by gluing in the pieces onto the center piece. By the time I was done it was a realistic looking bonfire of appropriate size! YAY for simple!

Fantastic! Thanks so much. I'll have to post some pics of my latest work, too.
Oh, I bought a couple of molds of the Hirst stuff off a friend. There are two little camp fires in it. I think I will paint them up and try to bring them, too. Not as impressive as yours, but they might add atmospheric.
