Hello everybody. I just signed up here on the Brohammer Forums after listening to the first 5 podcasts. A couple of local friends and I have been listening to warhammer podcasts for a while and we were excited to learn there was one being recorded nearby.
I am 28 years old and live in Cary, NC. I usually get in about 1 game of warhammer a week with one of my local buddies and we usually play here at my house. We got into the hobby lightly back in 6th ed and I started out with a meager force of High Elves (money dictating the size of my army of course). I ended up dropping it for a while before getting back into it about halfway through 7th ed. Now that money isn't really as big of a deal I have purchased a decent sized VC army, collected up some Wood Elves, as well as rounding out my High elves.
On a semi-related note, I used to work at a game store here in the Raleigh/Cary area called Games Galore. It has since basically gone outta business but one store actually "transformed" into All Fun and Games which I know Erik has heard of. I remain good friends with the owners of AFnG and am actually currently in a D&D game with one of them.
I just registered for the Brawler Bash and look forward to meeting some of you guys there. Hopefully I can actually get the day off from work and not have to call in sick just to go, which will totally happen if it has to.

Awesome welcome aboard. I will be coming in from Memphis for the Brawler Bash so do you have any tips for the area (good places to eat, etc.)

Yeah, I don't really get up to North Raleigh all that often I'm afraid. If you have extra time on a non tournament day I would recommend a place called "The Pit". Its in downtown Raleigh its a local joint that specializes in southern BBQ. Pretty good stuff.

Welcome to the board. Are you planning on making it to Chicago for Adepticon?
