So how did everyone do? I was very happy with my showing, I finished 4th. I was suffered a major loss against Skaven, a mjor victory against Dark Elves and draw against WoC. For being my first Fantasy tourny, I was pleased, after this tourny I now have a total of 5 Fantasy games so I was pretty happy.

Congrats!
I did really well, taking first place, but there were only 4 total players and there was only 1 other regular tourney player in attendance who didn't really bring an 'Ardboyz' style list.
I rolled a mean lizard list.
Tooled up Super Slann - Enemy Wiz Discards 6's, Free Dice, Loremaster, BSB, Std of Discipline (evil - LD 10 cold blooded re-rollable - yes plz)
Scar Vet - Burning Blade - Dawnstone - Ironcourse Icon
2 x 25 Saurus FC 1 x 30 Saurus Spears FC 10 Skinks with Javs
21 Temple Guard - FC - Flaming Banner - Champ had 2+ WS vs. Flaming 3 Terradons 2 x 7 Chameleons 1 Ancient Stegadon
2 x 2 Salamanders 1 x 1 Salamander
Salamanders are Frakkin evil.
The highlight of my tourney was an IF Dwellers killing Teclis on turn 2.

I placed 2nd at mine, Eoin placed first. I run a list based around getting my chosen of Tzeentch thier 3+ ward save. so I ran a fighty lord, a casty lord, and a bsb with the WOC banner of the gods. (all units within 6 are stubborn) a block of 36 warriors of tz. with shield, halberd, and GW a block of 26 Chosen of tz. with shield, halberd, and GW 3 warshrines I ran into Teclis in the first game and got wiped out. I was over aggressive with my chosen before they got the ward and was wiped out. with my main deathstar gone, i lost pretty quickly. my second game was against a woodelf army. It was ugly, it was like a block of wood going into a chipper-shredder. The block of wood just happened to have elf ears. third game was against a pretty standard empire list. war altar and 2 steam tanks. plus a bunch of artillery and a big cav bus. lvl 4 of shadow and a lvl 2 of life and some warrior priests or captains running around. His level 4 had purple sun, and his lvl 2 had dwellers both of which made me laugh. round 1 I made sure my caster had his lvl 4 in line of site and power scroll/purple sun'd both steam tanks off. I got half his cav with dwellers and his round 1 shooting didnt happen because of high winds. I never actually engaged in combat with a single unit. My caster did over 1000 pts of damage by himself plus the 500 for owning the center point gave me a crushing victory. the only downside was a made a critical list build error and left my fighty lord on disc with no protection whatsoever. He died round 1 of every game. Serves me right too.

I placed second in mine, with Ian Holland placing third. I had the bad stereotypical 'Ard Boyz tournament though, with two out of three of my opponents rules lawyering and arguing every little bit. My third round opponent also offered to sell me the massacre. Definitely an ugly contrast with going to Brawler Bash the weekend before.

Yikes! That didn't sound fun at all. I think you were really unlucky, I've been to quite a few Ard Boyz and had nothing but good opponents. Are you going to the semifinals?

We might go down the one in Boone, NC. I've had good 'Ard Boyz experiences before. Sometimes you just win the special opponents lottery.
