Wow, your army looks great. I usually do not like snow bases but yours look good.
You daughter's army looks fantastic for someone her age. I look at the models I painted at 10 and I couldn't paint in the lines. My daughter is 5 months old, I hope she gets the hobby bug, but if she is like her mother, then her hobby would be finding bargain deals at Target.

Awesome stuff. I love seeing how the army is coming together. Congrats on sticking to the themes and colors. I have a tendency to get bored and start to drift half way through the army.
Interesting use of the warjack.

Thanks for all the pos comments.
Getting the little one interested was suprisingly easy only time will tell if she keeps it up.
As she only sees me for a few days a month (I work away from home so only get home on average 3 weekends) she is keen to spend time with me. So if I decide to sit painting while she is still awake she likes to look at what i am doing.
she first watched me painting some gobbos for a doubles tournie and realy liked them, she kept telling me she liked them over a period of about a year and i sat her down with the new BRB and went through every army to see what she liked.
1. gobbos 2. VC 3. HE
I asked if she wanted to paint some gobbos of her own and gave her 20 models, enough for 2 units of 10 archers and 10 spears each with command. she has painted 11 so far and is keen to do some more so i will be getting out of my bits box enough to make the units upto 20.
She is very chuffed with the pos comments people have made. Thanks.
Ref the war machine model, this is not for the WoC army, but that has made me start thinking, hmmmm. But for my new years resolution to learn how to play warmahordes. I have also got a circle orberos starter set but this will need some green stuffing before the paint comes out.

Hearing all the 8th edition backlash about how so many folks are moving to Warmachine it would be extremely funny to see you work warmachines models into the warhammer army. I guess the geeky version of sticking it to the man.
BTW - the color scheme really does work well with the warmachine models!

Yeah, I was thinking that I might make some temp bases for the 2 warjacks to go in my warrior units.
That would raise a few eyebrows, haha.
Thanks for planting the seed.

Ah mah gad! If you divide the paint field of the hobby into sections I fall somewhere in between epeleptic blind monkey at a detox clinic and a parapalegic elephant with a paint brush on its trunk in the middle of a sneezing fit. I really hope that one day I will be able to paint this good because thats absolutley gorgeous! True motivator for me to get better sir, true!

cheers for all the pos comments guys.
I promise to get some more pics up soon.
Work is hectic at the moment and sitting down to paint after 12 hour days takes some force.
I have started some models for malefaux and will post up a separate thread for them.
Trying to get some stuff done to a min standard ready for a team tournie next week as there is a painting min standard to meet.
cheers

Your cold ones make me want to start dark elves and paint them exactly the same way! If I didn't already have 15 projects on my painting table I would do it NOW!

Wow Dave, I can't believe I haven't commented on this thread! I totally love your creativity with all the conversions. You are fearless in using other army models in your WoC army... And you get great results! A man after my own heart. -Erik
