Southern Assault 2011 - 2 day GT in Charlotte, NC

Following in the path of Brawler Bash, the Kobra Kai group in Charlotte is running a 2-day GT in Charlotte this Fall. Some details are listed below and a full tournament pack with all the logistics will be posted shortly. We wanted to get the date out there asap so people could start making plans.

It was a great tourney. 2 days of awesome games and great opponents. There were 36 players for the event and lots of prizes... They added a club category to account for the various groups coming from NC, SC, and VA.

I had fun and got to fight a variety of armies with my Wood Elves. Faced off and lost to the Dark Elves, but won versus Vampires, Empire, Warriors of Chaos, and High Elves. Pulled off 2nd overall with the WE which was nice for my army. OK and Dwarves took 1st and 3rd. Congrats goes to Dan and Gerry for a great event.
