Hello I always enjoy listening to podcasts, on how warhammer is played across the world . And the two episodes of Brohammer have been great in doing that. It's also helped me to concentrate on all the painting and modeling which needs to be done .
About myself , I have been into warhammer for about 8 years now mostly on the hobby side of things. I could never find much time when i was in school for warhammer , though now that 8 edition has arrived I've decided to put on my generals cap. And see if am any good when it comes to playing the game ,so as of now am learning the basics of the new edition. The army that i collect right now is bretonnians although over the years, I have briefly collected empire and dwarfs but the bretonnians will always be my main army. And hopefully soon i should have some pictures to share of my Bret's on the forum .That not when being a student (first year of an Architecture course), isn't taking up majority of my time.
So finally again great work on the starting two episodes of Brohammer ,and am looking forward to some great forum topics and discussions. Liam

Hi warhamsterdave Am currently living just near chester in the north west of england ,though during the weekdays I commute into university in liverpool. Games wise am just starting to get back into warhammer 8 edition and have only had few practice games at the local games workshop in liverpool,so not much in way of gaming right now.

Welcome to the forums Liam!
Warhammer podcasts are fantastic motivators for me as well. They help keep me energized about warhammer when I can''t actually play or model. They also lend themselves easily to listening while you work on warhammer stuff.
Brets is one of the few armies that none of the 3 main hosts on Brohammer collect. Maybe we will bring in a bret "ringer" in a future episode to "edumacate" us :>
See ya around!

Welcome aboard! I think coming on board during 8th Ed is a good thing. I think this Edition is better than the last. Some will say that Brett's are terrible in this edition, but I don't think so. The last edition was about creating the nastiest unit (called a "bus") and then slamming it in to whatever it can. So, it was easier to do that with Brett's last edition, but that doesn't mean they suck now! There is a local guy here in Charlotte that does these you tube battle reports with Brettonians. He posts them on Warseer and has gotten a bit of a following. Here's the last one he posted: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTmjOT5vj1YCheck out those videos if you want a good idea of how Brettonians play. Chad (aka Once Bitten) is a really good general.
