I thought I would document my Empire army here and hear what people think. This entire army is dipped using Army Painter Strong Tone. I brush it on after base coating the models. I do not have the time to highlight and blend anymore, and I like the quality of the shading that goes with "dipping".
The entire army is magnetized. I use 1/4"x1/16" magnets I buy off eBay. The movement trays have metal sheets (bought a 3'x3' sheet from Lowe's for $10) cut to fit in the trays.
My plan is to get this army ready for the Brawler Bash in April.

Here are the bases I am going to use for my Scouts. I glued metal squares where the magnets fit onto balsa wood. I then glue a sand/gravel mixture all over and blend in the edges of the metal. (They are sharp). The front lip was used to strengthen the tray as I cut the balsa against the grain and it was too bendy.
Here is a converted IoB Griffin I am using as a General, but not for my Brawler list. I like the pistolier head.
My BSB, which was made up of every Empire sprue.
I will post some of the state troops I did a few months ago in the next few days.
