My normal crew didn't show today so it was just Dennis and I playing in the Cave. Let me preface the next battle reports by saying that in the USA there is no better Warriors of Chaos player according to Rankings HQ and he's 3rd in the world so he knows his crap.
First game was blood and glory. I had 6 points as did he. In turn three I ran off his BSB a unit of Spearmen with a standard and a unit of guys with Halberds. My Bloodthirster held 2 units by himself for 4 turns of combat which was super impressive IMHO. We forgot we were playing Blood and Glory and the game went to turn 5 before we remembered. At turn 5 he only had a chariot left and a unit of Archers. I lost my Bloodcrushers. If it were a victory point game it was a massacre. I had my eye on three lores before the game and randomly chose Lore of Metal. Against high elves it was just mediocre. His level 4 Miscasted twice, the first time loosing 3 levels and the second time getting sucked into the warp turn 3.
Second game was Dawn Attack. My whole army except my Blood Crushers and my Flamers deployed in the center and each of those deployed on the left and the right flank. Perfect deployment. I ran my larger unit of Bloodletters up near a watchtower that was near the middle of the board on my half, moved my Pink Horrors and my second unit of Bloodletters with my BSB Herald in it and placed my Bloodthirster near the two in front by an inch. My Bloodcrushers and my flamers moved up to secure my flanks. My magic choice was Light this time and WOW it is silly powerful with the Daemon army. Again my Bloodthirster ruled the battlefield taking on 2 units by himself and leaving the smaller units for my bloodletters to clean up for him. Between the buffs and the magical damage I was putting out it was a wonderful lore for the game. Bottom of 5 I finished wiping the last unit of his off the board and only lost my bloodcrushers again. Poor guys keep getting killed but they did their job holding the flanks until I could turn to deal with smaller threats. His level 4 miscasted and got sucked into the warp turn 2.
Third game he decided he wanted to try my Vampire counts. He's currently building a VC army and wanted to test play a few things so that he knew what he wanted to include it in his army if needed. Magic phase turn 1. He rolls 5 dice for his power pool. He grabs 2 dice for invocation and double 6's em... I was like Ohh hell no re roll those damn dice we arent doing this again.... he was like " are you sure dude?"
My response and reasoning were simple... we were trying out some things for an army he is building and what sense did it make for us to let his General die turn 1 and him not see how anything went with the army. He graciously accepted my offer of a reroll and reason and the game went on without a hitch until turn 4 BOOM miscast 2 dice thrown on invocation again. This time he was like I'll roll it this time man.
Ok so he rolls a 3, not good. It takes out 17 skeletons in the unit he was in he looses 6 power dice but doesnt get sucked into the warp. The unfortunate part of that was my bloodthirster was in base contact with the Vampire when he detonated. Thankfully I rolled a 6 on my ward save so I didnt take a wound, unthankfully for him I was in base contact and he just managed to take out his whole unit for me so he only had 3 guys left in the unit after I had managed to grind down a few ranks over the course of 3 combat phases already. This game ended very badly for him. I didn't lose any units. I wiped him off the board.
So we're talking about the games and both of us agree that my dice were spot on but his dice were not in a good mood. He did say that my deployment and my movement were fantastic and I've come a long way since we met 3 years ago and I was just starting Fantasy. I'm very happy with my performance today. The first two games we played Daemons VS his High Elves he won, Vengeance was mine today LOL!

I'm Very happy with the list as it sits and with lore of Light. I'm looking forward to seeing what this list does against my other friends and against Dennis' WOC list.
